DN: Who am I? That's for me to know and you to guess! Many of you know that I am planning to sail round the UK starting from H'pool and going clockwise. This is a huge privilege for me and an opportunity of a lifetime. This mad adventure has been made possible by Stuart and Kirsty by lending me their boat - Akira. She's a beautiful 32ft Westerly Fulmer and I will look forward to sailing on her. Big thanks to them. This is a new blog hopefully to inform you of plans/legs and some of the journey. Shall look forward to seeing some of you on the boat and via this page. Passages: Hartlepool - Lowestoft L'stoft - Harwich - Brighton - Portsmouth - Poole (week off for the sails to be serviced) Poole - Devon area - West Wales North Wales - Ireland - Isle of Man Scotland... - will update... and modify... If you would like to join me at any time - do let me know via the pintle email or phone/text. I am afraid I cannot give precise dates and locations of where I'll be ..but you are all very welcome. (bring a bottle though!!)
